Sponsorship in the Things That Think consortium brings many valuable benefits to your company:
- Visiting privileges —TTT sponsors can visit the Media Lab and its faculty anytime throughout the year with a two week advance notice to TTT Headquarters.
- Networking—TTT sponsors connect with
each other, resulting in exciting
new collaborations.
- Researchers—TTT faculty and students visit sponsors
to conduct workshops, intern, and consult on-site.
- Technology—Non-exclusive, license-fee-free, royalty-free licensing rights for Intellectual Property.
- Students—TTT sponsors can fund fellows
at the Lab and even hire graduates.
- Invitations-TTT sponsors are invited to our semi-annual sponsor meetings held twice a year, lab-wide lectures, and special events.
- Customized Company Day —The Media Lab
facility is available to sponsor companies to utilize for the following:
- visits and demonstrations
- strategic brainstorming sessions
- workshops
- executive and board meetings
Things That Think sponsors can receive the following:
- Things
That Think News: a monthly e-newsletter about the consortium's latest
activities and information on how to become more involved;
- FRAMES: the Media Lab's
bi-monthly newsletter, which highlights research projects, recent
theses, and other news about the Lab;
- notices about Media Lab intellectual property and patents;
- access to all Media
Lab theses, archived presentations, and publications.
Membership Options:
- Consortium Sponsor (Basic)-$200,000 a year for a minimum of three years.
- Consortium Research Sponsor (CRS)-$400,000 a year for a minimum of three years. CRS enables a sponsor to build a closer relationship with specific areas
of research by placing an employee-in-residence in the lab.
